Our Packaging

At Goodee, we prioritize both people and the planet in everything we do. One significant aspect of this commitment is reflected in our conscientious selection of packaging materials. 

As part of our sustainability efforts, we actively engage in reusing packaging whenever feasible. Whether from our brand partners or from previous shipments. This means that whenever we can, we ship items out in the same boxes they arrived in, minimizing waste and maximizing the lifespan of these materials.

When this option isn't available, we turn to our own thoughtfully sourced packaging solutions, carefully chosen to minimize our environmental footprint. Read more about each of these choices below.

Packing slips:
We do not include packing slips in our orders in an effort to reduce paper waste. If customers would like, we can send them an electronic version upon request. Simply reach out to care@goodeeworld.com.

“Thank You” Inserts and Gift Notes:
The "thank you" inserts and gift notes are both made of paper from an FSC Mix. FSC mix means a product that incorporates a blend of materials from FSC-certified forests and recycled materials.

Shipping Boxes:
All of our shipping boxes are made from recycled materials. The boxes can then be reused several times over and recycled when no longer usable. 

Tape:
Unlike most traditional kart tapes made from materials like polyethylene, vinyl, or other synthetics that are not recyclable through conventional processes, the tape we use is recyclable. It is also renewable, meaning it can be easily removed and reused multiple times without losing its adhesive properties or causing damage to surfaces. This allows both the tape and the boxes it’s applied to be reused. Additionally, our tape is latex-free, making it suitable for individuals with latex sensitivities or allergies.

Bubble wrap: 
Our bubble wrap is made from 50-90% post-industrial waste. 

Padded mailers:
Our padded mailers are made from 100% naturally biodegradable plant material.  They are recyclable, plastic free and naturally biodegradable.

Paper filling: 
Our paper filling is made of 100% recycled materials, 30% of that being post-consumer waste. It is also recyclable and naturally biodegradable.

Paper Bubble Wrap:  
Our paper bubble wrap is made of 100% recycled materials, 95% of that being post-consumer waste. It is also recyclable.

Air Pillows:  
Our air pillows, made from AIRplus® 100% recycled material, meaning they are entirely composed of post-consumer and post-industrial recycled content. They can be recycled repeatedly.

When receiving a package, customers are encouraged to think creatively about how they can reuse the packaging materials instead of simply discarding them. Whether it’s turning boxes into storage containers, using air pillows for cushioning during future moves, or repurposing packing paper for gift wrapping, there are countless ways to give these materials a second life. By considering how packaging can be reused, customers contribute to reducing waste and promoting sustainability, making a positive impact on the environment.
