Fogo House

Description
More than a decorative object, the little Fogo House created by Swiss designer Adrien Rovero in collaboration with Fogo Island Workshops is a tribute to Fogo’s traditional fishing stages — an integral part of the island’s identity. Perched on stilts, these wooden structures used for drying and salting cod saw their importance dwindle as industrial fishing devastated inshore fishery. Crafted from locally sourced birch and finished with the iconic Fogo House red-colored lacquer, this piece adds a unique and meaningful touch to your space.
